Raising Kids
Families come in all makeups - single parent, married, grandparents raising grand kids, foster parents, same sex parenting, blended household, and the list could go on. We as parents have an obligation and values as a foundation to raise our future leaders to become productive adults.
How can this be achieved with so many factors contributing to parenting:
- environment (where we live)
- social and cultural (what we know and don't know)
- economics (income and financial stability)
- education (access to quality education)
- mental and physical development (for parent and children)
- our village (family members, peers, mentors)
We achieve our mission together: communicating and working toward the mission of promoting strong healthy families by empowering parents through family activities, resources, workshops and networking opportunities.
This website is to help families overcome conflict under stress. To provide space for parents, teens, youth and agencies to communicate through blogs and vlogs, offer resources and referrals to agencies, and come together to network and share our triumphs and accomplishments.
